Northeast Forest Carbon and Climate Partnership
The Northeast Forest Carbon and Climate Partnership is a collaborative initiative between the University of Vermont Extension and state forestry agencies across New England and New York. The partnership is supported by funding from the North East State Foresters Association and the USDA Forest Service.
About this project
The Northeast Forest Carbon and Climate Partnership brings together the University of Vermont Extension and state forestry offices in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont to deliver science-based information on forest carbon and climate adaptation. Each partner state has a designated forest carbon and climate lead who supports landowners, conservation organizations, and forestry professionals in navigating forest carbon science and climate adaptation strategies, as well as identifying relevant payment programs.
